“Willeke charges a fair price for a Femilift treatment. I have now had a follow-up treatment, and after a long time I can say the Femilift has improved my incontinence to the point where I don't want surgery, at least not yet. I trust the Femilift more than having a synthetic sling fitted inside my body. I still can't run, but I can get through daily activities much more comfortably, without leaking, thanks to the Femilift. The claim that the treatment is pain free, made by the manufacturer, isn't quite accurate. It also depends on the numbing spray you can ask for. This time there wasn't enough time between applying the spray, which also didn't numb very deeply, and the treatment itself, so it was more painful than previous times. It would be worth taking more time so the anaesthetic can work properly.”

“Incontinent for 10 years. And now, after 2 treatments, I no longer need a pad for normal everyday activities. A very positive breakthrough for me personally. I was very sceptical and cautious, but after a lot of googling (there's a lot of information about Femilift on American websites) I took the step, and I really wonder why this treatment is still so little known. Several gynaecologists could see no other solution for me than a TVT sling, but I don't want a synthetic sling inside my body, I've heard too many unpleasant stories about them. And recovery after surgery takes a long time. I'm going for a 3rd treatment soon. Although coughing and sneezing are already 'dry' now, I still need to wait a few weeks for the final result, since things keep improving in the first weeks after treatment. After the 1st treatment it took 2 weeks before I really started to notice the first results. I'm genuinely amazed by the impact and the results. I don't expect a 100% dry result, but my everyday activities no longer cause me to leak urine. I can bend down, make beds, carry shopping bags, make bigger movements and walk a bit faster again, jog gently to catch the train without leaking. (Running is still not possible.) But hey, this has already been well worth it for me!! The treatment is manageable. Ask for some numbing cream, it helps!! Afterwards you have some discharge for a while (a week after the first time, a bit shorter after the second treatment). My incontinence wasn't mild, I leaked urine during everyday activities, not just with sport or coughing. Because of that I didn't have much hope. But for me, surgery is now definitely off the table!!”
