I've now had a follow-up treatment, and after a good while I can say that Femilift has improved my incontinence to the point where I don't want surgery, at least not yet. I trust Femilift more than having a plastic sling fitted in my body. I can't go running, but everyday activities are much easier to manage dry thanks to Femilift. The claim that the treatment is painless isn't quite true (that's what the manufacturer says). It also depends on the numbing spray you can ask for. This time there wasn't enough time between applying the spray, which also didn't numb very deeply, and the treatment itself, so it was more painful than previous sessions. It's worth taking more time so the numbing can properly take effect.”

“Incontinent for ten years. And now, after two treatments, I no longer need a pad for everyday activities. For me personally this has been a hugely positive breakthrough. I was very sceptical and cautious, but after a lot of googling (there's plenty of information about Femilift on American sites) I took the plunge, and I honestly wonder why this treatment is still so little known. Several gynaecologists told me the only solution was a TVT sling, but I didn't want a piece of plastic tape fitted in my body, having heard too many unpleasant stories about it, and recovery from surgery takes a long time. I'll soon be going for a third treatment. Although coughing and sneezing are already 'dry' now, I still need to wait a few weeks for the final result, since things keep improving in the weeks after treatment. After the first treatment it took two weeks before I really noticed the first results. I'm genuinely amazed by the impact and the results. I don't expect to be one hundred percent dry, but everyday activities no longer cause any urine loss. I can bend down, make the bed, carry shopping bags, make bigger movements, and walk a bit faster, even jog gently for the train without leaking (running is still a step too far). But honestly, this has already been well worth it for me. The treatment itself is manageable. Ask for some numbing cream, it helps. Afterwards you'll have some discharge for a while (about a week after the first time, a bit shorter after the second). My incontinence wasn't mild, I had urine loss during everyday activities, not just with sport or coughing, so I didn't have much hope. But now surgery is definitely off the table for me!”
